I would interview Yasmin. There are so many misinformed sources out there that are misinformed on her age and other such things. Although she is young, this accident is surrounding her and she can still express emotions and should still have enough cognitive function to express her emotions about the accident. It may not be extremely fluent or give us an in depth look but it would let us know how she feels. In example if she said she was scared but happy to see her parents. It adds emotion and personality to the story.
However, I fully see the disadvantages in asking her questions at such a young age. She may not know how to answer them.
